Friday Night 03:38
(VERSE) I saw her from across the way And I thought that we could talk But my friends all tell me "Don't you go and waste your time, no no 'Cause you know you're not her type" (PRECHORUS) So now I'm thinking If only I'd talked to her Maybe I wouldn't be dreaming that (CHORUS) We're going out this Friday night And there' something about her that's oh, so right From the first time she caught my eye I've been waiting just for this Friday night (V) Now I heard just the other day That she was talking to her friends about me Now I can see just what an idiot I am I wonder if I'll ever see her again (PCH) So now I'm thinking If only I took that chance Maybe I wouldn't be dreaming that (CH) We're going out this Friday night And there' something about her that's oh, so right From the first time she caught my eye I've been waiting just for this Friday night (BRIDGE) Then these voices start whispering in my head Revealing something that must be said And they cause a memory to stir: Don't you know a friend of a friend of a friend of hers? Alright; okay So I called her up today And now I know how she feels because (CH) We're going out this Friday night And there' something about her that's oh, so right From the first time she caught my eye I've been waiting just for this Friday night

Don't ask me why But sometimes it's hard Hard to believe All the thoughts kept inside They lead us to ponder As life passes us by But many times I wonder And many times I lose my way And miss out on His blessings Doing what I feel is safe And how can we be faithful To a God that we can't see? Is He really out there Or is He just beyond our reach? It's time we stop playing games He calls to us And He'll never change And what are you holding back? He wants us to trust Him But we widen the gap But many times I wonder And many times I lose my way And miss out on His blessings Doing what I feel is safe And how can we be faithful To a God that we can't see? Is He really out there Or is He just beyond our reach? Many times He speaks to us It may be as gentle as a touch On our hearts Yes, many times He speaks to us And we would truly find life if we'd just learn How to trust But many times I wonder And many times I lose my way And miss out on His blessings Doing what I feel is safe But I pray that we'll be faithful To this God that we can't see And trust that he is out there That we would follow and believe

Underground 03:19
It's dark and cold down here And it's clear That I won't be leaving soon I've been here all this time I say I'm fine And so it must be true For so long I've been underground Haven't made a sound for so long I'm not sure that I want to go I'd rather be alone, underground I cannot see the light But still I fight To break out of this shell A struggle of the mind Can I find A way out of myself? For so long I've been underground Haven't made a sound for so long And it's a trap I made for myself And I'm breaking out, breaking out Finally I see what it's done to me I'm breaking out, breaking out
5.
(VERSE) I've been watching you think this whole week I ask you what's wrong, but you retreat (CHORUS) Now I'm trying to figure you out Whenever we talk, you seem to shut down Pardon me if I am thinking out loud Still trying to figure you out (V) I'm caught in the middle of you Upside down and hopeless, I don't know what to do You never tell me how you feel Why do I always have to guess who the real you is? (CH) Now I'm trying to figure you out Whenever we talk, you seem to shut down Pardon me if I am thinking out loud Still trying to figure you out (BRIDGE) But you just don't add up (CH) Now I'm trying to figure you out Whenever we talk, you seem to shut down Pardon me if I am thinking out loud Still trying to figure you out Whenever we talk, you seem to shut down Pardon me if I am thinking out loud Still trying to figure you out
6.
(V) You came to change my life Of this I am sure But now I say that I am tired I'm sure You've heard it all before (CH) Will You see me through See me through another day Help me find the way? Will you see me through Give me strength to walk in Your grace Can I follow You? (V) Each day is filled with opportunity For me to live for Christ But I not strong enough I don't even think twice And even though I know that You are there That You're right here, beside me Still, like a coward, I fall away, and wonder How do You still live inside me? (CH) Will You see me through See me through another day Help me find the way? Will you see me through Give me strength to walk in Your grace Can I follow You? Will You see me through See me through another day Help me find the way? Will you see me through Give me strength to walk in Your grace Can I follow You?

Dawn 02:54
(VERSE) Dawn turns heads wherever she goes And her charm is a force like gravity They think she's got it all She's even tall, but not too tall And they wonder where she gets her energy But she wants love, desperately And it's true she could have any guy She could if she wanted to And yes, she's had quite a few Yet still she pulls them in on her line (CHORUS) And they're waiting for Dawn Beautiful and strong Waiting for Dawn To clear away the fog (V) She wakes up in the middle of the night To the smell of sweat and stale cologne She thinks, I've tried so long, And what could I be doing wrong? And wonders why she feels so alone (CH) Waiting for dawn Beautiful and strong Waiting for dawn To clear away the fog (BRIDGE) And she looks at their clothes on the floor Knows it will end just like before And finds she's always wanting more (CH) Waiting for dawn Beautiful and strong Waiting for dawn To clear away the fog Waiting for dawn Beautiful and strong Waiting for dawn To clear away
