(VERSE) You got that song running through my head Won't go away; oh, no, no And I like to pretend That I hate it, but I don't And you say "What's going on" When you answer the phone, every time And I just have to laugh Before I say "hello" (PRECHORUS) 'Cause that's the way it is with you I poke fun at the things you do But it don't mean that I mind So please don't you ever change Even though I sometimes think you're strange I hope you know I've come to find that (CHORUS) It 's the little things that you do That make me fall in love with you Yeah, it's those little things That make you who you are (V) Now you're so down to earth You must be two foot five (wait, that's not right) But I know if I'm at my worst You can make things right (and that's no lie) And you have a way To put me at ease And I feel okay Wearing my heart on my sleeve (PCH) 'Cause I want to let you know how I feel I hope those feelings grow But I've just got to be sure So please don't hold back I want you to know that I would love to learn more (BRIDGE) Of those little things Those little things (CH) 'Cause it's the little things that you That make me fall in love with you Yeah, it's those little things That make you who, oh Little things that you do That make me fall in love with you Yeah, it's those little things That make you who you are

(VERSE) If you want me, I will think about it And if you want me, I will give it a chance But I have loved before And been kicked out the door And I don't want it to turn out like that did If you promise me you'll give me your heart Then I guess that we could call it a start And then our love would grow And soon enough it would show That we don't have to worry about a thing (BRIDGE) Let the storms pass over Nothing can get in our way And together we'll grow older With each passing day With each passing day (V) Now, if you want me, I will think about it And if you want me, I will give it a chance But I have loved before And been kicked out the door And I don't want it to turn out like that did

Don't ask me why But sometimes it's hard Hard to believe All the thoughts kept inside They lead us to ponder As life passes us by But many times I wonder And many times I lose my way And miss out on His blessings Doing what I feel is safe And how can we be faithful To a God that we can't see? Is He really out there Or is He just beyond our reach? It's time we stop playing games He calls to us And He'll never change And what are you holding back? He wants us to trust Him But we widen the gap But many times I wonder And many times I lose my way And miss out on His blessings Doing what I feel is safe And how can we be faithful To a God that we can't see? Is He really out there Or is He just beyond our reach? Many times He speaks to us It may be as gentle as a touch On our hearts Yes, many times He speaks to us And we would truly find life if we'd just learn How to trust But many times I wonder And many times I lose my way And miss out on His blessings Doing what I feel is safe But I pray that we'll be faithful To this God that we can't see And trust that he is out there That we would follow and believe

Watch Out for that Girl (VERSE) Oh, dancing all night Her moves are so right, yeah And she is every guy's dream But she's not what she seems, oh no I have checked her out before She's not the kind of girl that you should wast your time on She is only playing games To her you're just the same as every other guy (CHORUS) She'll use you just for fun And then she's on the run You don't know what you're getting yourself into You're a pawn on her chess board She's always in control Watch out for that girl (V) You act like you're in a daze Caught up in her ways And it is plane to see She's got you on a leash She's been tearing up your heart Right from the start, but you can't see past the lies I won't tell you again, it'll all come to an end It's just a matter of time (CH) She'll use you just for fun And then she's on the run You don't know what you're getting yourself into You're a pawn on her chess board She's always in control Watch out for that girl She'll use you just for fun And then she's on the run You don't know what you're getting yourself into You're a pawn on her chess board She's always in control Watch out for that girl She'll use you just for fun And then she's on the run You don't know what you're getting yourself into You're a pawn on her chess board She's always in control Watch out for that girl

Underground 04:08
It's dark and cold down here And it's clear That I won't be leaving soon I've been here all this time I say I'm fine And so it must be true For so long I've been underground Haven't made a sound for so long I'm not sure that I want to go I'd rather be alone, underground I cannot see the light But still I fight To break out of this shell A struggle of the mind Can I find A way out of myself? For so long I've been underground Haven't made a sound for so long And it's a trap I made for myself And I'm breaking out, breaking out Finally I see what it's done to me I'm breaking out, breaking out

I Love You 07:59
(Verse) Three little words But they mean so much And how I feel about you right now Is what they describe when I say (Chorus) I Love You You know I Love You Hey, you know I Love You I Love You (V) You can do me wrong But I'll still love you, all along I don't know how, and I don't why But those three little words, they still apply (CH) I Love You You know I Love You Hey, you know I Love You I Love You I Love You You know I Love You Hey, you know I Love You I Love You
9.
(VERSE) I really enjoy spending time with you And I hope that you feel the same way, too And I could stay here, just a little longer 'Cause I really enjoy spending time with you And I like the way you smile at me And I hope that it is a little clue About the way that you feel for me 'Cause I really enjoy spending time with you (BRIDGE) But this has gone on for far too long This game of guessing whether I'm right or wrong Oh, I need to know (V) 'Cause I really enjoy spending time with you And I hope that you feel the same way, too And I could stay here, just a little longer 'Cause I really enjoy spending time with you
10.
Tonight 04:01
(VERSE) I think of her smile Know it touched me when I think of her And I thought this feeling would never end But I guess that I was such a fool for you For you And I wonder where you are tonight Now, I know that something went wrong But I can't quite place my finger on what it was But I know that I won't Spend the rest of my days, living in the past with you With you But I wonder where you are tonight (BRIDGE) So I will walk alone on these streets Thinking of the love we had, and it troubles me 'Cause I don't know why it ended But I know that a greater will be there for me Soon enough, I will see (V) But I think of the times That we spent alone together And I thought this feeling would never end But I guess that I was such a fool for you For you And I wonder where you are tonight Tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight Tonight, tonight, tonight, tonight Tonight, tonight, tonight

Scars 04:52
(VERSE) Walking alone, she was Coming home from the bars "It's a simple mistake," he said "I swear I'll never do it again" He grabbed her arm; he left his mark And now she's crying again, over him And over so many things that he did "It's time for an end," she said As all these thoughts ran through her head She wonders why she gave him so much time (CHORUS) She's got scars on her face If you don't know, then they're pretty hard to trace Scars in her mind That she wishes she could leave behind But her eyes, they never tell me lies I see those scars (V) Now the months go on by, but he sticks around He's the next call on the line, or a stranger in town And he comes back in memories That she pretends she couldn't see But the evidence lies in her skin (CH) She's got scars on her face If you don't know, then they're pretty hard to trace Scars in her mind That she wishes she could leave behind But her eyes, they never tell me lies I see those scars (BRIDGE) Every time I see them, I see him Every time I see them, I see him Every time I see them (CH) She's got scars on her face And scars in her mind And the healing takes So much time But her eyes, they never tell me lies I see those Scars on her face If you don't know, then they're pretty hard to trace Scars in her mind That she wishes she could leave behind But her eyes, they never tell me lies I see those scars
13.
(VERSE) Oh please, don't keep me waiting I just want to see you again I hoped you felt the way I did But just when I thought that things were clicking You prove that they're not With your simple "I forgot"s You always seem to have the right words to say To make me go away Now I want to know, what are you thinking? Could I just have some time To get inside your mind? 'Cause I'm getting tired of hearing you tell me Maybe later will work out But you're just too busy now You always seem to have the right words to say To make me go away (BRIDGE) Now, is there someone new Spending all of his time with you? Now, I've heard every excuse But I highly doubt a single one was true (V) And when you're alone, what do you tell him? When I thought we had something Do you say, "Oh, he was nothing"? You always seem to have the right words to say To make me go away You always seem to have the right words to say To make me go away
14.
(Verse) Where is the warmth? And is the sun still shining? I haven't felt its rays in, oh so long And I can't get there by trying And why is my throat so dry When I've been panting for water? It doesn't seem to get me anywhere And I wonder why do I bother (Pre-Chorus) My body gets weak As I try to seek The way that I once knew And the going is hard When my thoughts don't get me too far When I wish they would (Chorus) But something inside me keeps me moving on Knowing that there's a peace for sure Something inside me keeps me moving on Knowing the light at the end of the tunnel gets bigger But it's been the driest desert The coldest winter I've ever known (V) Do you see these tears on my face? They tell a deeper story Of a faith that has been replaced And a worthy king who's paid no glory But I want to live for Him To live in His spirit But every time I try It seems I cannot get near it (PCH) And the devil's holds are tight I'm trying hard to fight But I think he is winning But I believe in a power That can save in the darkest hour I know it will (CH) But something inside me keeps me moving on Knowing that there's a peace for sure Something inside me keeps me moving on Knowing the light at the end of the tunnel gets bigger But it's been the driest desert The coldest winter I've ever known It's been the driest desert The coldest I've ever known It's been the driest desert The coldest winter I've ever known

(VERSE) I remember cool September days When I'd walk with my friends And the world, it seemed, was in my hands And I still recall Days when I was small And fun was all that was on my mind Didn't have a care, didn't think of time Now, is the world still in my hands? (CHORUS) Don't let me wait another day Watch the stars fall from the sky Don't let me wait 'til I'm old and grey Before I finally ask "why did I let all of this time pass me by?" (V) And I still think of you It isn't hard to do And sometimes I wonder when I'll ever find someone again I knew you wouldn't stay I loved you anyway It was my mistake, didn't think it through What a waste of time, I guess I knew You weren't the one (CH) Don't let me wait another day Watch the stars fall from the sky Don't let me wait 'til I'm old and grey Before I finally ask "why did I let all of this time pass me by?" (BRIDGE) And we have our doubts What will tomorrow bring? Just the same old thing And I've got a choice I can keep asking "how?" Or I can start now (CH) But don't let me wait another day Watch the stars fall from the sky Don't let me wait 'til I'm old and grey Before I finally ask "why did I let all of this time pass me by?" Don't let me wait another day Watch the stars fall from the sky Don't let me wait 'til I'm old and grey Before I finally ask "why did I let all of this time pass me by?"
17.
(VERSE) I've got to go I'm sorry that I did not let you know Any sooner It came up on me Like a thief in the night Now I know the time was right (BRIDGE) I long to see you again I know I will see you soon my friend We'll sit and talk, when I come back (V) But as for now I don't have the words to tell you how My heart is aching They say change is good So I guess that I should be moving on Just one last song tonight (BR) But I long to see you again And I know I will see you soon my friend We'll paint the town when I come around (V) But I've got to go I'm sorry that I did not let you know Any sooner

about

"Jeff Miller's debut album, 'Trying to Be Cool,' was a minor pop tour-de-force, an updated version of Todd Rundgren's "Something Anything," with [Miller] playing all instruments save drums. His encore effort takes an opposite tack. 'Something Different' is literally that, as Miller strips away the studio gimmickry for his second release. Recorded live in the studio, the 17 acoustic songs recall artists as diverse as Joseph Arthur and James Keelaghan, with a bit of Michael Hedges' intricate guitar work."
-Rege Behe, Pittsburgh Tribune Review
